Clinical Movement Assessment & Functional Rehabilitation Our athletic training services provide evidence-based, clinically supervised care focused on improving functional movement, preventing injury, and supporting safe return to activity. Athletic trainers in our integrative clinic are healthcare professionals trained in the evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, working collaboratively with our physical therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and nutrition specialists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Clinical Focus Areas Include: Comprehensive functional and biomechanical assessments Development of corrective exercise programs targeting mobility, stability, and neuromuscular control Post-rehabilitation conditioning and bridging the gap between physical therapy discharge and full activity Management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal complaints within scope Sport-specific movement analysis and performance optimization Education on injury prevention, load management, and movement efficiency What Patients Can Expect: Each patient begins with a structured assessment designed to identify functional limitations, movement dysfunctions, and risk factors for injury. Based on these findings, the athletic trainer develops a tailored treatment plan that may include therapeutic exercise, functional strengthening, mobility interventions, manual techniques within scope, and progressive return-to-activity programming. Integrated Clinical Model Our interdisciplinary approach ensures communication across providers and alignment of care plans. Athletic trainers collaborate closely with physical therapy for complex cases, co-manage active patients across disciplines when appropriate, and contribute to comprehensive treatment strategies that address the mechanical, neuromuscular, and lifestyle factors impacting patient outcomes. This integration allows for efficient progression from rehabilitation to performance, reducing re-injury risk and promoting long-term functional health.
