Teaching Tai Chi has been a natural extension of her belief that gentle movement, awareness, and consistency are powerful tools for healing.

Before pursuing Chinese Medicine, Amara earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her background in literary analysis—listening closely, recognizing patterns, and uncovering deeper meaning—shapes how she approaches diagnosis and

treatment, enabling her to thoughtfully address the root causes of complex or seemingly unrelated symptoms.

Amara blends classical acupuncture principles with modern, evidence-informed care, meeting each patient where they are. She is deeply committed to education, collaboration, and empowering her patients with practical tools to reduce stress, relieve pain, support emotional well-being, and move through life with greater ease and balance.

Amara Goodman, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M., MTCM, earned her Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM) from Five Branches University Graduate School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the nation’s leading institutions for East Asian Medicine. Early in her career, she worked at a Tibetan Medical Clinic, where she developed a deep respect for the connection between spiritual and physical healing. During this time, she also helped establish a community acupuncture clinic, expanding access to affordable, high-quality care for underserved communities.
